Live Active, Stay Luxe

At Bon Dia, we’re reshaping Catalan travel by mixing the thrill of sport with the comfort of local luxury.

Our Mission

To provide active, culturally curious travelers with an unparalleled living experience in Catalonia—merging historic architecture with modern amenities, and rooted in the dual passions of our founders for cycling and real estate.

Our Vision

To redefine luxury travel in Catalonia by becoming the gold standard for immersive, localized, and active living experiences.

Why We’re Here

Traditional vacation rentals lacked the verve of cycling culture. Hotels didn’t resonate with the authentic local experiences we craved. Bon Dia Residences is our answer to this void—an intersection of history, athletic vigor, and unparalleled local immersion. With digitally streamlined stays, we offer our guests the freedom to explore Catalonia’s hidden gems, while keeping the pulse of the cycling community alive.

We’ve meticulously scaled our operations to break down inefficiencies, providing a hospitality experience that is both extraordinary and attainable. Because everyone deserves the thrill of an adventurous, yet convenient, stay in Catalonia.

How We Started

Our roots trace back to 2017 when our co-founders, Ron Baron and Lior Marcovici, met at a cycling training camp in Girona. From that moment, a shared vision started to materialize. Lior, enamored by Girona’s blend of history and vibrant cycling community, paired with Ron’s real estate acumen, saw a massive opportunity. That same year, they acquired their first property—a building in Carrer de la Barca 34. They invested to transform it into a sanctuary for active travelers.

The journey scaled up in 2019 when the first Bon Dia Residences welcomed guests as La Comuna, setting a new standard for how to live and explore Girona. In January 2021, La Comuna Café was founded, a milestone that magnified our commitment to community and localized experiences. As of April 2023, we’ve expanded our legacy with a second historical building in Girona.
