Exploring Girona’s Best Gravel Routes

For those who prefer to venture off the beaten path, Girona offers an extensive network of gravel routes that combine scenic beauty with a true sense of adventure. We’ve selected five of our favourite routes, each offering a unique mix of terrain, distance, and landscapes.

Ride towards Banyoles, where rolling gravel paths lead to Catalonia’s largest natural lake, or explore the forested trails around Anglès. Head south towards Cassà de la Selva, where quiet backroads and countryside tracks make for a perfect day in the saddle. For those looking for a longer ride, the route to Pals offers a stunning mix of gravel and coastal scenery, passing through medieval villages and open landscapes.
