ABOUT BON DIA RESIDENCES
In 2017, a chance meeting at a Girona cycling training camp brought co-founders Ron Baron and Lior Marcovici together. Inspired by the city’s unique blend of history and cycling culture, the pair envisioned a new kind of hospitality. That same year, they acquired their first property on Carrer de la Barca, transforming it into a haven for active travelers.
Their vision became reality in 2019 with the opening of La Comuna, a flagship property that quickly became a cornerstone of Girona’s cycling community. The launch of La Comuna Café in 2021 deepened our commitment to creating spaces where travelers and locals could connect over great food and shared experiences. By 2023, the addition of La Noucentista and the launch of the Vivaldi in 2025, cemented Bon Dia Residences as a leader in providing authentic, thoughtfully designed stays in Girona.

Accommodation With Purpose
We identified a gap between traditional vacation rentals and hotels: one missed the essence of local culture, while the other lacked a personal touch.. Bon Dia Residences bridges this divide, offering thoughtfully designed spaces that honor Girona’s rich history while providing the comforts of modern living.
From the beginning, our goal has been clear: to create a home base where adventurers, culture-seekers, and cycling enthusiasts alike can live like a local. By combining authentic local immersion with seamless service, we empower our guests to explore Girona's hidden gems while enjoying a home away from home.

Bon Dia Residences now includes two historic properties, each offering a unique take on modern hospitality:

September 2017
Bon Dia Residences acquires its first property on Carrer de la Barca.
April 2023
A second historical property, La Noucentista, is refurbished and operational for long-stay travellers.
2019
La Comuna opens its doors to travelers.
December 2024
All apartments in La Noucentista are sold.
January 2021
La Comuna Café launches in collaboration with Jan Frodeno and Emma Snowsill.
January 2025
Vivaldi becomes available to clients, after a 6 year refurbishment project.
